Through a variety of state and federal programs, Michigan Works! Kent & Allegan Counties is able to provide employers a number of training options free of charge that can help develop a stronger, skilled and educated workforce.

Michigan Works! Kent & Allegan Counties even offers On-The-Job-Training (OJT) programs for newly hired employees meeting certain requirements, which can help workers acquire occupational skills in a paid working environment. By taking advantage of this program, employers are eligible to be reimbursed for up to 50 percent of the participating employee’s wage during the training period.
